i have been buying the A F jeans for years. they werent amazing but i thought it was the best i could do. ive never really been a jeans person for this reason. I saw a girl on TikTok trying on jeans at Old Navy that were cute and I was like well if I hate these high-end jeans that I've been buying ...there's probably no way I would like Old Navy. (I was traumatized as a child and forced to wear everything Old Navy don't judge me.) but I'm really glad I went in against my old judgments of Old Navy because this place is amazing. These jeans are far and above better quality than the ANF ones I have been spending an arm and a leg on and these are literally a third of the price! I am now a convert from the previous brand to Old Navy jeans now! i am 5'2 140ish and i got a 10 regular and these are still cropped. if u r normal to tall id go with the tall! i usually wear an 8 but these are perfect in a 10 with room to sit down and actually breathe comfortably bc who needs standing jeans? be fr
The sizing and fit of these jeans varied widely according to the wash and it's quite frustrating. I ordered the grey wash, black wash, medium wash (darker version), and dark wash in both sizes 2 and 0 to compare, since I am in between sizes. The fit of the darker washes ran bigger, so the medium was...h in a size 2 fit like the darker washes in a size 0. Perhaps the company was trying to adjust sizing since darker washes typically fit tighter? This meant however that finding my right fit was impossible, and none of the washes fit really how I wanted them to. The medium wash was my favorite color, but the size 0 was too small and the 2 was too big. However, the size 0 in the other washes fit perfectly around the waist but were too baggy in the legs, and the barrel shape didn't adjust in curve according to a shorter inseam, so it looked unflattering on a shorter body even though the length was technically appropriate.

I bought these jeans over the weekend, and I'm so glad I did! They fit me perfectly and are so comfortable. They hug my curves in all the right places without feeling too tight, and they really complement my shape. I also caught them on sale, which made them an even better buy. I paired them with a denim top for a jean-on-jean look, and the outfit came together perfectly. I'll definitely be grabbing all my jeans from O.N. from now on!
