I got this in orange XL and get multiple compliments when i wear it. I'm thick on the bottom (size 18 pants) but the linen fabric skims my curves without being tight anywhere. It's super flattering, the shape of the top feels summery and cute without being sleeveless. And the smocked waist creates a... nice sillhouette without being tight or clingy. The fabric is a lightweight linen but isnt see through and doesnt feel flimsy the way the crepe fabrics sometimes do. The only thing I'd change is Id make it longer. I definitely cant bend over and when i sit it's bare butt to seat. i have to wear shorts underneath. Id love a version i could wear it to work. If they were available in my size (esp in tall) I'd buy more colors bc i love it so much. I hope they make more in this style.
I wanted to love this dress! Such a classic silhouette. I was disappointed to learn the left side seam above the waist is shorter, forcing that side to be off shoulder and limiting range of motion in that shoulder. You really can't wear it with both shoulders up/even or off the other shoulder. Will ...be returning. That being said, the berry color is lovely and the fabric seems to be of good quality.
