I typically wear a size large petite in all ON dresses but I happened to see this one in medium petite at a local store so I tried it on and to my surprise it fit PERFECTLY. So, you may be able to size down in this one - for reference I am 5'2" and have a 40" bust which is mainly due to a broad back... and wide shoulders (not a lot of breast tissue) 35" waist and 39" hips. Be sure to never dry these in the dryer though as rayon flows beautifully but shrinks terribly easily. A quick steam does the trick on rayon to remove wrinkles as well.
I ordered the black. It's a bit low cut in the chest (I'll need to find a super low cut bra), but otherwise fits very pretty; it accentuates my curves and hides all lumps:) However, it's see-through! It's SUPER thin material, and if someone plans to wear during the day, it'll be see through. I'll al...so need a slip! For reference, I'm 5'7", 155, 32DDD and I ordered the large (the medium didn't fit my bust as well as the large, but if I were smaller busted, the medium would have fit too).

I bought this dress in a Petite Medium, and for busty 5'0" woman, the fit is absolutely wonderful. Just a quick note for other petite shoppers: with the handkercheif hem, the longer parts of the length of this dress brush the top of my feet..... I might say it fits more like a maxi dress. I am so impressed with the quality and wanted to highlight what makes it special: - Fit & Style: The neckline is a bit daring, but it looks beautiful paired with a simple camisole for a little extra coverage. - Comfort: The fabric is incredibly soft, flowy, and a joy to wear! - Easy Care: It washes really well and stays in great shape when hung to dry, needing only a quick steam to look perfect. I love this piece so much that I've already treated myself to a second color.
