The dress is cute and there's no way my kid will let me return it since she already saw it, but I would if I could. The dress lining is basically just plastic, it reminds me of plastic party tablecloths. Could easily be lined with basically any other material and be better.

I bought this to give to my almost 4 year old for her birthday in June. She's a girly girl and I always gift her a dress the morning of her birthday to make her feel special. Love the rainbow tulle because it's so loud and fun. The "bday girl" beading on the straps are such a cute touch. The dress is a little bit see through even with the under layer but she always wears biker shorts under her dresses so I don't see too much of a problem.
