I love that the utility pockets are along the side of the legs kind of like how the pockets are on the side for leggings or biker shorts, so that you can sit with your phone in a pocket without being awkward while crossing your legs. My phone almost always falls out of my pocket when I get up from s...itting or squatting on the floor with my toddler, so this design is a game changer. My only complaint is that the pocket doesn't go all the way down to the hem so it's actually just a tad too small for my phone (smartphones are so big these days) - so the only thing I would change in these shorts would be to make the pockets bigger to hold a phone more securely. And lastly I love that these are 100% cotton; I appreciate that Old Navy offers more 100% cotton options
I really liked these shorts, but sadly I had to return the because I felt they were too short. If they had a couple inches more length to them I would have kept them and probably worn them a lot all summer. I am in my 50s and just don't feel comfortable showing off so much leg anymore. Younger me (w...ho had much nicer legs) would have loved the length on these.

This was a true to size fit. It is comfortable to wear and have a loose fit that is perfect for the heat. I like that fact that it's not too short where I feel exposed and also not to long that it's still above my knee. It goes with different occasions, if I wanted to dress it up or down
