I love the purple pattern, the material and the beading, but even in a tall (I'm 5'5") this sits high at the hips. It's also lower cut when you try to pull it down. I really miss the ON blouses and tops that used to fit longer and were so comfortable for women over 16. This is all cotton so I'm hopi...ng that it doesn't get even shorter when washed.
I first purchased a regular size large and it was fairly wide and a little short. The purple leans towards brown but pretty. I decided to get a medium tall and it was a crop top, way shorter than the regular and extremely narrow. Maybe it was sized incorrectly but hesitant to try another one. I took a gamble on this top and I'm glad I did. The fabric is very pretty to me. It is slightly cropped, but very airy and will be perfect to wear in warm weather. The sleeves are almost elbow length which gives nice coverage if you are after that. I did remove some of the beating around the neck just to make the shirt very simple and I like it better. Very good piece for my wardrobe and a very good price.
