I love these so much, i bought them in two different colors. I usually wear a large/extra large. I ended up getting an extra large because I didn't want to try them on in store but wish I would've went with a large. They are fine, and I can for sure wear them, but I have to roll the waist once or th...ey fall right off. If you're between sizes, definitely go with your smaller size. The material is a little stiff, but not in a bad way. They definitely feel like a short I would've had back in the 90s. I will probably go back for more.
I really wanted to love these since they look so cute in the photo. These shorts run large and they're stiff. Not a fan of the material :/they're uncomfortable. For reference: I'm 5'9, 160lbs. Added a star since I love the colors and old navy shipped them quickly.

I'm obsessed with the striped athletic shorts look with a cute blouse and these shorts specifically look great with a nicer top because the stripes are a cute crocheted lace. They are slightly oversized so if you're debating on sizing up, don't. I usually like a large for my oversized shorts but stick with my true to size M and they fit cute and loose but not too big. True to size. I'm 5'5" & 150lbs and got a medium.
