I'm loving this length and style of shorts for the summer and I didn't notice when I purchased them online the detailing that goes down the leg until I opened them up this morning. I will live in them this summer.
Tried these on in store and decided to wait for the pair I just ordered on line,, and unfortunately the shorts I ordered online don't fit the same as the in-store pair did. The In store pair ,I could tell the cut was different than last year, but the ones I received in the mail fit exactly like the ...ones from last year. I am over the top disappointed in myself for not just buying the pair I loved in store because I knew this was going to happen. If anything I've learned about ordering anywhere now days online ordering is consistently inconsistent. It's a gamble but fortunately old navy is good about returns

Fit is great - maybe not as loose as I was expecting in the hips but I also expect denim to need a little time to stretch. Side pockets are roomier than I was expecting, when I initially tried them on I thought the pockets were going to be small but I put my keys in one of the side pockets and there ended up being more than enough room. Comfortable and actually long, which feels like a rarity with shorts.
