My daughter is 6 going on 7 and she is a chunky one. She is 90 pounds and this dress fit her perfect in the XL. Timeless piece for sure!
The dress is adorable and has a very soft denim feel. However, the item description says it hits just above knee, but this dress is extremely short and does not even cover shorts worn underneath. Much shorter than other Old Navy girl's dresses.
