I finally wore this with a white rashguard to the pool with kids yesterday and I felt covered, but cute and sexy. It feels a bit retro with the boy shorts and general design. I actually wish it had cap sleeves for sun protection and think it would've added something really special. The black fabric ...is soft and stretchy, lightweight and flexible while being lined and providing nice coverage. I'm quite tall (nearly 5'10) and the length was great and adjustable using the straps, although I would've preferred slightly more cushion vs a sewn in triangle for the lady bits because of the center seam, which can dig. Releasing wedgies, front or back, is easy enough with the shorts. I have already suggested this little number for my older sister who has grown insecure with age in hopes of allowing her to really enjoy herself, instead of judging herself.
Tested this suit in waves strong enough to draw all the surfers out to the water. PROS: It was ridiculously easy to adjust the straps once the suit got wet (though I had to get onto shore to do so, waves were just that close together). The coverage is great for being more active/modest/too lazy to ...shave lol. Some reviewers mentioned the suit not being made of typical stretchy swimsuit material. It does have a slightly different feel and texture to it, but I found it had plenty of stretch/behaved like a swimsuit. CONS: The seam running down the front makes me reluctant to get that snug fit that you typically want a swimsuit to have. It did give some front and back wedgies. The front seam was not flattering but maybe if sewn differently could be much better. (Never had to worry about that with a bikini) Maybe a kind of u shaped seam going down the legs instead? Or a more standard gusset than the small triangle shape it currently has. Not sure if size M would have helped, too afraid the shorts would ride up. Height: 5'7", Weight: 115 lbs, Size: S

This suit style came out last year and I have 6 different colours and many multiples of black. I swim laps 5x a week and am still not the thinnest person at the pool. I appreciate that this suit is modest enough to cover all my bases & cute enough to garner lots of compliments. Not the best boob support. But I pull the straps tight and they don't slip or fall. I srsly have so many suits because I'm scared ON will quit making this style so I've stocked up! Ab love it.

The texture makes it feel so much cuter, I love that it is adjustable, I typically shy away from one piece suits as I fear my behind will hang out, or my chest will feel pulled, but this one doesn't do that, I can't wait to see what it feels like when actually swimming!

I ordered the periwinkle color in L and XL - my usual size is L for ON 2 piece swimsuits. I'm 5'9" with a long torso, so I wasn't sure the L would work. It turned out the L fit fine - the adjustable tie in the back makes the straps longer or shorter, so I'm able to adjust the straps so the suit doesn't pull up in the crotch. (The XL was too big, as expected.) I love the retro style and I'm excited to wear it this summer (after I lose a few pounds off my tummy/ hips). I haven't tried it in the water yet, so I don't know if it will ride up - hopefully not! The color is beautiful and the texture really adds a lot to the style of the suit. I will most likely also buy one of the new prints (pink!) if this one is comfy in the water.

i don't know how but this swimsuit is magic. it is so incredibly flattering and sexy, despite having a lot of coverage. if you look great in classic/vintage styles, pick this one up. i would say it's true to size. i am a small, ordered a small. i have a big butt and low wide hips, small waist, and average bust. 5'3" 120 pounds.

Love the material and fit of this swimsuit. It's very comfortable and true to size. It's so sweet, I might order another colour. I think this would be attractive on anybody type.

Great fit even on my long torso. Not suffocating but if you want more compression I would recommend sizing down. Bra pads were too small and totally useless.
