This is the kind of dress I would almost recommend people try on in store because I ordered a plus 2x size version of it online but when I tried the basic XXL on in store it fit better, so I exchanged them. I love that the waist is tucked in and you don't have to have a belt, I love that the sleeves... cover your arms and I love that the skirt is roomy so the the buttons don't pull at the hips when you sit. I would love to see this cut in more colors (like an olive green!) and I would be really curious what dress like this in rayon would be like since it might be better for wrinkles. like many others I also wish it had pockets since the skirt is roomy enough for them. I am 5'3" and the skirt hits just below my mid-calf area.
Unfortunately I do not understand the high ratings. I was excited that I actually got to purchase the striped version. I also had the black one in my cart, thankfully it sold out before I could check out. The reasons for my poor rating are the horribly thin material and inconsistent sizing. I fully ...expected more structure and quality material. I also had issues with sizing. A 16 was too small for me this time! If the material was of better quality it may have worked. The buttons in the middle section were straining to stay buttoned. All in all this was a huge disappointment for me and I took a big hit on my self esteem.

This is a great dress! Great fit, comfortable, cool! Style it up summer events! Or more casual! I wish it came in more colors! I added a belt and a scarf and wore it to a matinee theater show with friends!
