Definitely nice for an inexpensive dress but if you are heavy in the tummy and bum you will need some kind of shaper. I bought it considering it for a cheap wedding dress, I am not going to use it for my wedding but I will likely dye it a bright color and wear it plenty. It's very pretty, I got a petite large, I am 5'5" and 211 lbs. some reviews said the arm holes were too deep, I found them to be just right and that's an area I usually have trouble with.
