Old Navy dresses hit different. I hardly shop anywhere else for skirts and dresses, especially. I got both the black and yellow version, and I'm so glad I did. The black is perfect for all seasons, and the yellow is so cute for warmer weather. I love short sleeve dresses, and adore that this has a l...onger hem, so it looks like a professional work outfit - while just being one garment. The collar adds that nice finishing touch of business casual. I think it's true to size, for sure & the material is a bit more on the thicker side, so it's not see through(I still wouldnt wear dark undergarments under the yellow dress, of course, just to be safe lol). The slit in the leg helps breathability. I sometimes get the petite version, because I'm 5'5, and sometimes the regular length is too long, but I got the regular in this version, and it fit perfectly. Doesn't drag at all. Love, love, love. If this was ever made as a linen version, I would also be all over that.
This is a thicker fabric than a typical t shirt dress. Kind of ribbed and clings a bit too much for my liking. I don't want a heavier weight dress for the summer months, so it's going back. The plain midi t shirt dress is a much lighter fabric and more comfortable fit.

Love this dress. It is flattering for my bodytype. Comfortable and perfect color for the summers. Only downfall is the color is much milder than shown. But pretty nonetheless

Loved this dress! Dress in regular L was sold out in store and on line. Dress became available in L tall-decided to try. I am 5'6 and the large tall was a perfect in size and length. So glad I decided to take a chance on the tall size.
