GOOD Material - real denim so good structure and stretch a bit in the waist throughout the day - just enough to be comfier and you can eat a burger Cut/shape - as a millennial trying to navigate away from skinnies but also feel too old going back to flares. this silhouette feels like a good comprom...ise - classy, modern, timeless. "Still got it" vibes MEH Inseam - I'm 5'11" so I ordered a tall inseam like I do with other jeans or pants - these were dragging on the ground a bit and needed to be folded up. Winter slush might prove to be tricky Waist - wish they were a bit higher as they don't hit at the true waist, so it creates a bit of a widened block effect where it sits if you tuck in a shirt or wear a crop. I have a c-mom belly so I've been trying to really highlight my true waist and not add bulk lower. kind of a bummer but I can make it work with other lines and styling AWFUL Zipper - a major issue. It will not stay up! I have to safety pin it to stay in place, throughout the day I first wore them I kept flashing people inadvertently- there was no warning it would just pop down. I would normally return for this as it's just not practical to not stay zipped, but all I have otherwise are skinnies and a full schedule. Safety pins it is for now.

I purchased these in a petite medium wash a couple of months ago. Other than they were slightly too large, I loved them and wanted another pair because length was great. So I ordered the light wash one size smaller also in a petite. Total disaster. The light wash in petite length is about 1 to 1.5 i...nches shorter than the medium wash I already have. The light wash was a tad too tight but wearable. So for comparison I am 5'3" and weight about 135 and curvy. As in 12 inch difference between waist and hip. So "loose" jeans work better for me because of that differential between waist and hip. The size 8 was wearable but enough too loose it didn't look good. I kept the medium wash anyway but wanted another pair. Bottom line: different washes affect length and perhaps waist/hip sizing. I will be returning the light wash because I don't want to play the return and reorder game to get a good fit. I love ON but the in-between sizing for me makes ordering jeans a crap shoot for me.

I literally have not worn a good pair of curvy jeans in so long, I used to love ON jeans but they never fit me right, as with most jeans too tight on the hips/fupa, too big in the waist, and always too long since I'm also 5 feet, plus throw in the never high enough waist because of my long torso. Finding a good pair of jeans without having them altered has never happened for me. But these jeanssss let me tell you, smooth and have a little stretch, but still look and feel like quality denim, plus PERFECT IN THW HIPS AND WAIST! Accomodates my bigger bum bum while perfectly snug but not too tight on the waist and apron belly. Literally love love love everything about these. I did an 18 petite, for reference I'm like 250ish lbs, 5 feet as mentioned, short legs but long torso, Thicccc with a Capital T in the thighs and behind, and have me a cute lil apron belly to top it all off. If you're curvy and have wider hips but a smaller waist, literally don't hesitate especially my bigger girlies, they will fit!

I actually already have a pair from last summer but bought the black wash this time. I have always had trouble buying bottoms because my waist is small but my thighs and rear are not "proportionate" to my waist size so I usually end up with a size that the legs fit but the waist gaps significantly. These jeans GET ME!!! This is my second pair and I just ordered 1 more color. The waist fits AND the thighs (saddle bags) have room. Very flattering. I do wish they would make a mid-rise version as well. In general, almost all my pants are from Old Navy because they seem to understand this body type and have something flattering, stylish and comfortable that I don't have to "make work" for me. Also to add, they are tighter when new or washed but because they are mostly cotton, they do tend to stretch out somewhat during a day of wear.
