Compared to the version sold last season, this version is about 1-2" shorter, very wrinkly, has more compression in the spandex shorts, and has a thinner material for the skirt. Aside from the black version, the white and blue versions show endless wrinkles. The white stripe at the waist looks like ...underwear and makes the skort less versatile because the look is clearly sporty. It fits true to size ( I am 5'5" 108lbs, 35" hips and 25" waist and regular XS fit liked a glove with no extra room though). I appreciated the version released last season because you could dress it up due to a thicker skirt with a thicker pleat and shinier material with a waist band that was solid and matched the color of the skirt and didn't wrinkle. The skirt on this version is slightly see through. This version was designed for sports and is not as versatile as past models.
Over the years, this skirt has gone down in quality. It used to have wonderful body to it, and was super flowy and flattering. It seems like they're using less and less fabric each year, so this one basically just an a-line skirt that happens to have micropleats. Will not be purchasing after being d...isappointed with the batch last year. I've attached a pic of the OG and you can see how flowy it used to be. Please add the fabric back, Old Navy!

I love this skort. With it being in high waisted to get counter covers my belly? It's a comfortable fit. The only thing I wish it had was pockets on the shorts.

i tend to look for alternate swim bottoms for summer. i have an apple belly so i always look fir more coverage. the material if this skirt is the same as swimwear so i bought this in three colors and love them on. i can wear the skirt and transition straight to the beach. the skirts are true to size, but tge matching tops are much tighter so i sized up fir the matching tops.
