I bought the matching long sleeve shirt to wear with these shorts. The shorts are a bit shorter than expected. But I'll still wear it. I purchased my normal size in these shorts which is a medium. It fits perfectly. The waist for me is a tad bit snug but not tight. But I think I can loosen it up by ...stretching it out on something on a day or so. I know for sure the large would have been too big. It's really cute with the whole set. It can be casual with sandals or you can wear it either way heels or even sneakers. I plan on wearing the set to a graduation with some short block heels. For reference, I'm 5'2, 140lbs. Curvy bottom, thick thighs. The long sleeve matching shirt, I got that in a small petite and it was perfect. Not tight or loose. And my chest is 34DDD.
I'm almost always a 2x in ON shorts/pants. These are a little on the tight side but sizing up would be way too big. They're also pretty short. I wish ON was offering more of a variety when it comes to inseams this year. Gonna end up purchasing shorts elsewhere because everything I've tried from ON t...his summer is too short. Also, what's up with all the low rise?!

I loved these so much! I got them in two different colors. The brown and the cool multi stripe. I like these better than the original linen blend ON has. For wider thighs and a bigger behind these give great room. The other style feels too constricted and not great for a lot of walking. They also are light weight! I wore these with the double layer tanks ON have in yellow and light blue. It was my favorite outfits to wear in Mexico cause it was comfy & light and great for traveling. The rise was perfect too just above my belly button. I'm 5'1 and midsize with a soft curvy shape, carry weight in my midsection, weight 160 and the large was very flattering.
