My 4r old granddaughter LOVES these powersoft skorts along with the cloud shirts but these skorts are cut differently than the ones they had last year… I ordered some at the end of the summer for this year an extra small and they fit with a little room to grow. I ordered the Black Floral and Lilac... Ice in XS this year with the lower waistband (it says highway band, but it's actually lower than the ones they had last year) … they are so much smaller that I'' certain she will grow out of them before Summer's end. So much like many of Old Navy's items… I would recommend purchasing the size you think your child may need and the size above if you want to ensure to get the best fit for the entire spring/summer. I had to return the XS and order the S- but they didn't have the small in the one we wanted by the time I learned this. Other than the size is being inconsistent with all the girls power, soft skorts and missing out on the colors we really wanted, they are perfect.
