My 4r old granddaughter LOVES these powersoft skorts along with the cloud shirts but these skorts are cut differently than the ones they had last year… I ordered some at the end of the summer for this year an extra small and they fit with a little room to grow. I ordered the Black Floral and Lilac... Ice in XS this year with the lower waistband (it says highway band, but it's actually lower than the ones they had last year) … they are so much smaller that I'' certain she will grow out of them before Summer's end. So much like many of Old Navy's items… I would recommend purchasing the size you think your child may need and the size above if you want to ensure to get the best fit for the entire spring/summer. I had to return the XS and order the S- but they didn't have the small in the one we wanted by the time I learned this. Other than the size is being inconsistent with all the girls power, soft skorts and missing out on the colors we really wanted, they are perfect.
I ordered the skort and the top in size small. They sent an extra small for the skort instead. When I tried to exchange it, despite indicating to Old Navy that it was their mistake ("wrong item received") there was no option for an exchange so I just had to return it and order another one in the cor...rect size, leaving me on the hook for the $7 shipping fee. The items itself seems okay, one of few pieces in a large summer order that was not so thin and cheap it will fall apart after a couple of washes. So if you are lucky enough to get the item you ordered, then I would say this is worth it. It's a cute piece for dance, tennis or any number of sports. If you are unlucky you will pay extra to fix their mistake.
