High-Waisted Linen-Blend Super Wide-Leg Pants I bought these in the store. I bought size small regular (I sized up with the shorts and am very happy with those as well). I washed and fully dried them. They fit perfectly now. A little roomy in the butt and hips, but not too bad. I wouldn't want the ...waist any smaller. They are super soft, I could sleep in them. They don't wrinkle too badly. The nature of linen is that's is a wrinkly, laid back look anyways. The length is absolutely perfect on my 5'3" frame. They touch the tops of my feet and don't touch the floor at my heels. I wear these all the time to just hang out at home, run errands, go to church. I wore them on Easter Sunday to church! They are so versatile, wear to the beach, bum around home, date night, church! I may buy a couple more colors, can't beat the price, comfort, and versatility. I have the green right now. Oh, huge pockets in the front too. I normally wear a size 6, especially when things are high waisted. Sometimes a size 4. I'm 5'3", 118 lbs, closer to a rectangle figure than an hourglass. I typically wear a medium in pants for my waist, but everything below the waist is size small. Hope this helps others of similar sizing. (so I found these run a bit big and I sized down after trying on both sizes in store)
Sizing is really off. I'm 5'7" 170 lbs. I would normally consider myself a "large." However after reading reviews stating these wide legs linen pants ran large and short, I ordered a medium tall. The length was good but they weren't just wide leg, they were way too loose in the crotch and rear t...o the point that they looked too big and sloppy. The waist elastic fit but the material underneath the waist was billowy and blousy, not a good look. I remembered reading a review that said get a tall and it will be perfect after washing and drying. So I tried that. The length shrunk to the point of them being ankle pants and the bagginess of the crotch stayed the same. I returned the medium talls and ordered small talls. I really need these pants for an upcoming trip and should have had plenty of time to receive them going off the size chart if it were in fact accurate. I should not be a "small." I don't know if they will be too tight but judging by how the medium tall fit me before washing it- the small tall should be ok as long as I don't ever wash it! I'll come back and update. But I don't know what an actual small person or tall person should order based on the weird sizing.
