First let me say that I LOVE that ON has so many 100% cotton garments. Cotton is my absolute favorite and it seems like many others prefer it as well. I purchased the black in M Tall - I am 5'8" 29 inch waist and 37 inch hips and I wear 10/12 in other brand pants depending on fit. Wearing them high ...on my waist with bare feet they rest right at ground level with no folding or dragging. I purchased the tall because cotton/linen usually shrink a bit and I like to be able to put them in the dryer for a quick 20 on warm and then just straight cool air for the remainder. They seem well constructed, the black is not see through. I'm going to grab the beautiful blue and white. :)
I have a pair of these pants from several years ago, and I absolutely love them. No complaints. I wish I had bought multiple that year because it was the last year that they were such high quality. Since then, everything about these pants has been on the decline. The material is thinner and you can ...tell they aren't as well made. Some colors are see through. Worst of all, they've removed the back pockets and the drawstring. The pair I have has a hidden drawstring on the inside and nice, deep pockets. They look dressier because of the hidden drawstring, which makes them much more versatile. Also, why wouldn't you want these pants to be adjustable? That's kind of the point. Otherwise, I'd just buy dress pants or sweatpants, depending on the need. These were the perfect in-between that you could dress up or down. Now they just look like fancy pajama pants and I haven't bought a single pair that I've tried on. It's so disappointing.
