I love the look of these jeans, and we usually don't ever have any issues with fit with Old Navy pants. However, for some reason these are really tight and not stretchy. I got the floral print one in a 3T for my 2.5 year old, and she won't wear them because they are restrictive. Based on reviews may...be the other designs fit better.
Bought these in a 12 mo and they are TIGHT around my 6mo olds waist! She's a pretty average sized girl — we have to leave them unsnapped while she is sitting for comfort. I'd size up and take advantage of the cinching waist….we just cuff her pants a little bit, as we weren't expecting them to be wor...n for a couple months
