I loved these shorts. They are relaxed and work great for curvy body types. I am a solid size 10 and the medium was a generous fit until I washed and dried it. It shrank a very small amount and it's a perfect fit, now. It looks cute with the waistband turned down for a mid-rise look. I love the col...ors and that they all have coordinating sweatshirts available. The only downside is that the inside of the fabric is not very soft where it contacts the thighs but I feel like that will get better with washings.
Quality and cut used to be great, but these are not good anymore. I bought 6 pairs of these shorts last spring and they were amazing! Flattering high waisted, 100% cotton (so rare these days), good quality fabric. I wear them almost every day whether for running, or chilling, even to my very casual ...outdoor workplace. So when I saw them return this year I was so happy n ordered 6 more pairs. I'm so bummed they're all going back. First, you can feel the quality has diminished noticeably. Fabric is much thinner and feels cheap. You'll even notice ON is sneaking in polyester for many of the colors. Upon trying them on I was even more disappointed to see/feel the cut is different since last year. Marketing has no business calling these extra high waisted. Once washed, these will be midrise at best. Why be dishonest? They are more boxy, way less flattering. Such a bummer because the colors are cute and these used to be a dream.

I thought these would feel like sweatpants but they are much lighter and great for spring even beach wear. They match old navy t shirts and sweatshirts so very cute combos.they get very worn-in quick and stretch out a bit after just a few washes.this said I bought a 4 th pair so I'm in love ! I have blue, grey, black with green stripes and hot pink with white stripes and 2?matching oversized sweatshirts and an oversized t shirt .

I'm 5'1" and usually wear a size 14/16 in pants. I liked that these shorts aren't so high waisted they come up to my breasts like some do. They fit comfortably just above my belly button with the crotch where it should be. The inseam is a good length to prevent thigh chaffing. Overall, a cute and comfortable short. They do run a little large, imo. I am between a large and XL and these are roomy in size large for me.
