I have short legs and I'm Almost 5'3 & the length in petite is perfect for me. The denim isn't thin but not too thick either. I have another pair of petite overalls from ON that was straight legged and I had to size up on those. These fit perfect and are not tight. I wouldn't call them baggy or oversized but a little roomy. I haven't washed them yet but I think these will be perfect for the garden. The wide leg part isn't too wide, it's perfect. I love these overalls so much!

I'm 5' 7'' with an athletic build. I ordered a 10 regular and they fit perfectly! The hem touches the top of my feet. The material is fairly soft and I'm hoping it will continue to soften with washes.
