These shorts are made from high quality cotton herringbone fabric. They do run slightly looser than other Old Navy bottoms, so if you're between sizes, consider choosing the smaller size since the elastic waistband provides some flexibility. As a man with an athletic build, I still found there was p...lenty of room for my muscular thighs.

My partner is 5'7 and 210ish and he chose 38 over 36 just in case. I think 36 would've worked for the waist area but it might've been a little tight in the crotch area when he squats. Sizing up may be safer for large thighs/butt! The style is a little wide/loose but doesn't look silly on my partner. It does look a bit long though.
