first pair of biker shorts i own that don't ride up!! perfect for any activity !
I am continually disappointed in Old Navy's bike shorts. They truly don't make them like they used to. I have four pairs of older models (2018ish) of their bike shorts, and they have lasted me through marathon training, weightlifting and years of general fitness use, but they're just now starting ...to get holes in them. I thought these shorts might be good successors to my favorite running/workout shorts. Oh no, my friend, because I have stomach fat. They fit quite well everywhere else - the no-seam-in-the-crotch is great, length feels right, material is thick enough - but the waistband is missing a key piece that *used* to be in Old Navy bike shorts, and that's a thin piece of elastic at the top of the waistband. That tiny piece of extra material is key to keeping the shorts from rolling down anytime you bend over…and these don't have it. So if you have any stomach fat at all, and if your workouts include any bending over, constant movement (isn't that all workouts??) you'll be unrolling the top of the waistband constantly, making it a bad deal for me. Please, Old Navy, reconsider your design. Would be great to have some good bike shorts from you again.
