The dress is a great quality and pictures properly represent the Red dress. Its super cute. I'm usually an XS in Old Navy clothing and this fits rather large. If there was another size to go down - I would. It would fit someone well who's bustier, broad shoulder. As a small chested person - this has... too much space and is baggy under the arm pits. But its soo pretty that I'm might just get it taken in a bit. I would say size down for sure.
I am always a large petite in ON dresses, and I even got some of the fit and flare dresses by The Occasion earlier this year in large petite and they were perfection - this is NOT. It's way too big and very long as well - fits me like a regular length XL so not sure what they did here to make it so ...off in fit. If the length were accurate I would just size down but I think I would need to do a small or medium petite and unless they cut off 4-6 inches it would still be too long. This one is a pass until it goes on clearance and then it might be worth it in the smaller size and then I'll just take it to the tailor to have it hemmed.
