I like the fabric and look of these pants for the office. The waistband is quite wide, for me. I have a more hourglass/pear shape, and I'm trying to grow my booty. So they fit well in the hips/ booty, but they are gaping at the top due to my narrower midsection. This is resolved by folding the waist...band down. The tag is not at the top of the waistband so it's not an issue. I like the overall fit in the hips,etc. they hang nicely and are a bit thicker so they don't look like leggings and look more like a work pant. They are long-ish, but really are a fine length for work pants. I'm 5'3" and change. Some words of advice for sizing—read the size chart and take your measurements. Old Navy tells you where to measure. Then you can make the decision on whether or not the pants (or any clothes) will fit you. Also, the description does not list pockets, hence no pockets, although I admit that pockets would be awesome. I'm happy with this find.
I have read so many comments about them being too long. HOWEVER, after washing in cool and drying on low, the length really shrunk. I'm barely 5'3" and now they're too short. I was mindful in laundering because I was hoping they wouldn't shrink in the waist, but with as long as they were, I didn'...t anticipate the length shrinking that much. I'm so disappointed. I both three pairs and now I can't return them because they've been washed. I wish I had just tried washing one pair. Lesson learned.

I love these pants! They're comfy and flattering and, in my opinion, are a dupe for Spanx pants which cost over $150. I got the regular length even though I'm 5'3 because I find Old Navy's pants shrink. They did and now they're the perfect length for me.
