My only issue with these (and most old navy kid jeans) is that, while they fit in terms of length, even with the waistband on the tightest setting, they are still a bit large. I often set old navy jeans aside until my kids grow into them, but what ends up happening is that they are 6" too short by t...he time they fit in the waist. I know my kids are not abnormally tall and skinny because I have seen them in comparison to their peers, and they get growth charts each year at pediatric wellness visits. I wish old navy would make "slim" styles or offer "tall" options for kids, so that I could continue ordering jeans from them. As it stands, my daughter will be yanking these up 500 times a day. If your kid has a similar build to mine but likes belts, these would be fine.
The 14 is too small for my daughter- can't get all the way up- but the 16s are too big? Disappointing She can't find jeans here. And there aren't enough varieties of jeans for girls- why to boys get all the styles and girls are relegated to wide/ baggy leg? Not everyone wants a trendy jean. Some jus...t wants jeans.
