I'm 23 weeks, and have previously only tried full panel maternity jeans, which I do not like as they ride down and are hard to pull up without lifting your whole shirt. I didn't think I'd like low panel jeans as I'm curvier. Luckily I happened to find these in the store (an online return) and tried ...them on. They stay up sooo much better than the full panels for me, and the panel is stretchy enough (at this point in pregnancy) that it doesn't cut into my belly. It's so much easier to pull them up when they do need it, with the back waist being around where it would be in non-maternity jeans. I was 190 or so pre-preg, now around 200, and my usual pre-preg size 14 fit great. I don't find they run small. I think the leg is cut straight- there's some taper from the knee down, but they're not snug on my calf or ankle.

I wanted to love them...but they just didn't fit as I hoped. I ordered two different sizes... and I'd say they fit on the small side. The material was quite thick - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but good to note. I ordered a long length but they were still quite short on me. I'm 5ft 7in.

I loved that these maturnity pants come with belt loops, something I was struggling to find. I like to wear my work lanyard wrapped around my belt loops instead of around my neck, but none of my regular jeans fit my growing stomach anymore (currently 21 weeks pregnant). So not only do these pants fit comfortably with my baby bump, but they also have belt loops, a feature that is highly important to me for how I wear my badge at work.
