The fabric has a light, bouncy feel. The shape is really nice from the dart at the knee. They're long for my son because we sized up but the elastic at the ankle keeps them up over his shoes until he grows taller. He loves them and always wants to wear them!

These are SO soft! I initially bought a pair for myself and soon thereafter purchased a pair for both daughters, my future-son-in-law and my grandson. I have never felt a material as soft with the exception of cashmere. Now, the toddler sizes do run small, so do keep that in mind. I also learned that tall girlies like my daughters do best if they order men's sizes. Just a suggestion.
