I never buy one piece swimsuits because I have a long torso, larger bottom, and a small bust which makes shopping for swimwear a nightmare. But I had to try this swim dress because they were so cute! I'm so glad I did because I bought a size large (normally buy large bottoms and mediums tops in swim...wear) and it fits perfectly. No gaping at the bust either. Super flattering and covers my butt and tops of my thighs, which is impressive since I'm 5'9" 174#. My one request is please, please make this in a long torso version! That's the only thing that would improve the fit of this swimsuit as it does cut up pretty high in the legs since I'm so tall. At least the skirt covers it up!
I'm 158 cm tall and weigh 50 kg. I'm not very athletic, carry some weight around my midsection, and don't have very full hips or glutes. At Old Navy, I usually wear Petite XS in tops and Petite 4 in bottoms. I bought this swimdress in XS, but the built-in briefs feel completely disproportionate for ...an XS size, especially for someone who normally wears petite sizing. The crotch area is oddly long and poorly shaped, while the hip area is unusually wide. When worn, the back coverage is terrible — the sides flare outward instead of sitting flat against the body, so it doesn't properly cover the butt at all. For reference, I normally wear high-waisted, full-coverage briefs — the type people jokingly call "granny panties" — which already provide much more coverage than regular underwear. I've attached comparison photos for reference. The briefs shown are the Jockey Cotton Full Brief in size 5 and the Uniqlo Just Waist Briefs in size XS. Also, the crotch area is only single-layered and lacks any additional protective lining.

When this style first came out I thought that would be perfect for me but ugh! it's the 80's mom swim dress. WELL I ordered it anyway because it fit the bill. I wanted a no nonsense swimsuit that I could do water activities with my kids and walk around the water park/beach/pool and still look cute. I now have 3! And it does look cute, more athleisure dress vibes than 80's mom swim dress vibes. I get compliments every time I wear one. I might have taken a star for support, it's shelf with those little round cups that move but didn't because all swimwear at retail stores like old navy are similar, this one is better than others I have had but if you are looking for more support, a specialty swim store would probably be your best bet.

What a find! Got this on sale! Beautiful print, good quality material, great fit. I'm usually a M but went to a L for the swimdress (comfort). It's a classic; age appropriate for me, and perfect fit for my 65 year old body.
