I'm typically between a small and medium but according to reviews it ran big so I went with a small. It fits but I may exchange it for a medium. It's not as oversized as I thought it would be according to reviews. Material is soft. I'm 5'3 140lbs
Sweater is very soft but the choice of velvet for the bows is awful. I ordered the white sweater with black bows, the bows constantly have white fuzz all over. After washing, I have to run tape over the bows repeatedly but they immediately pick up more white fuzz with wear. I rarely wear it because ...it just isn't worth the annoyance.

This is so soft! And there are functional buttons unconnected from the bows, so if the bows get messed up the cardigan will still close. Love this look and fit.
