For some reason, when Old Navy makes a larger size, they also increase the length of the skirt and the width of the opening at the bottom of the skirt. I ordered an XL expecting it to fit similarly to the pictures of the first model (mid calf, straight silhouette), but it is more like an ankle lengt...h a-line. Now that I am looking again, I see that this is how it fits the last model that is wearing a size xl and I should have paid more attention to the fit on her body. But I don't understand why the larger sizes are made longer and wider at the bottom anyway. It's like every measurement of the skirt was sized up by a specific percentage instead of attempting to maintain the same style/look for the different sizes. I really hope that they brand can address this in the future because the skirt's lines/cut are so cute on the size small model but so matronly in an XL. I'm keeping it because I need warm skirts and they are kind of hard to find, but I am going to have to alter to make it look the way it should, which is annoying.
