These are a warm, snuggly hug for your legs and they look great. I'm 5'7" with long legs (usually a 31" inseam) and got the regular medium in both gray and black. They are not the same length, even before washing. The gray is PERFECT, grazing the top of my foot without dragging on the ground behind ...my heel. The black is a bit shorter, doing that floating-flare lampshade thing just above my foot. Not my favorite, but I'll probably still try to wear them because they're so dang cozy.
These were very comfortable and warm. Could be casual or wear to work. Unfortunately, I was only able to wear them 3 times before they got holes in the back of the pants. Reading other reviews, I see this is an ongoing issue. The seam is fine, but it's the fabric that just ripped into tiny holes. Od...d considering these are lined with fleece and on the thicker side. Very disappointed and can't reorder as they out of stock.
