Rarely am I surprised when it comes to sizing for clothes especially pants. I'm a 5'3 woman with a curvy body and a big butt. It's so hard finding jeans that can fit your butt and your waist however as soon as these arrived I tried them on and they were perfect I love these jeans. They don't make my... butt pop like Levi's but they were just perfect I love the feel and they're snug and not snug at the same time. Very nice quality from now on I will be purchasing jeans from old navy

for reference, my measurements are 5'9", 26" waist, 37.5" hips. i ordered a size 2 tall in black jack. inseam was good (measured 33.5"), but was somewhat baggy in both the waist and hips, and very baggy in the thighs, as pictured (the waist of the garment measured 14" and hips measured 19.5" lying ...flat - so a full 1-2 inches larger than the size chart indicates). rise measured 12", which was okay but i still felt a little bit of wedgie as someone with a long torso. going off of that, a size 0 tall (which ON doesn't carry) would probably fit my waist and hips pretty well, maybe with a tiny bit of waist gapping, but the thighs i think would still be too large, and the groin area a bit uncomfortable. so these jeans are made for 'curvy' people that particularly have larger thighs, and they also run large for smaller sizes. besides that, the jeans were decently thick and felt good quality, and were a true black.

These are very nice jeans however I haven't received them yet in the mail, but I can tell you from past experience from having a pair of these in the a few years ago. These jeans are comfortable roomie. They have a stretch in the waist in hip area for thicker women. They feel comfortable and I like the material they're they come in different shades and tones. They're the most stylish jeans ever and the most comfortable. They're also in the affordable kind of range they run about $30-$40 without sales or promotions and when they're on sale or promotion, you can get them for around 15 not to be forgotten by any kind of I never paid full price.
