These pants are surprisingly comfortable and are made of a ponte knit that is heavy enough to drape properly. I'm not sure I love the fabric as it doesn't seem as soft as my other ponte knit pants made by a different brand and they feel and look slightly shiny. While some young people may see these... pants as more of a dated style, as a mature woman, I still want to still be stylish but wear a less fitted or skinny pant. For me, the straight, wider leg is a flattering option that hides my true shape a bit by masking my thighs, and the ankle length means I can easily wear these with a kitten heel or a flat loafer. Finally, I was sooooooo happy to see that the waistband on these pants has been significantly improved this year. It's enclosed and sewn shut, eliminating the waistband "flip" that occurred when wearing last year's version.
I'm 5'9 with a 27" waist and thick(er) thighs… Being a slender tall build, I found that these accentuated my hip dips and for this reason I'll be returning. It could be due to sizing up to a medium as a few reviews mentioned worth doing, but unfortunately these are no longer available in a small wi...th a regular inseam… To each their own! These may be perfect for someone else. I also would anticipate pilling after washes due to the fabric. It's more of a polyester stretchy yoga pant material than what you'd typically find with "dress pants".

I love, love these pants. I have them in brown, black and now navy. They are like my work uniform, super versatile and can wear with flat sandals or a heel. I'm 143lbs, size 6 in pants and carry my weight in my hips and thighs. I normally wear a small in old navy but prefer a M in these. They are a good substantial fabric and have stretch. High rise. Literally wash and wear straight from the dryer. Super easy! Please make these in lighter summer colors!

These pants are perfect for work because they look professional, but feel like thick stretchy yoga pants. I got the petite and the regular length. The petite is great for a slightly cropped look - hits just above my ankle and the full length covers my ankle and is better to wear with ankle boots or when it's colder outside. Wish they came in more colors! My usual size XS fit - 5'1" with 34" hip and 105 lbs

I find pants eternally difficult, but these ones feel like they're custom-made for my body. The extra high waist sits perfectly for me instead of cutting into my middle; the wide waistband is smoothing; the stretch means I can move comfortably while the thick fabric makes me feel like I'm wearing a structured garment and not an athleisure piece. The seam adds a little polish to the look and the slightly cropped length means I can show off cute footwear. I haven't been this pleased with a pair of pants in years. Soooo happy I found these!
