This is the second pair of pj's I've purchased (same style, different pattern). Size and quality is consistent. The tall size is actually tall. I'm 5'10' and they're under my foot long (which I love!) I got an xl because I like oversized. As a size 12/14, this xl is actually xl and I feel the bottoms would fit a 16/18. The top it would all depend on bust size.
