Bought this because my 11yr old daughter needed a warm jacket and our store was completely sold out of girls jackets. She chose this one and I didn't mention it was a boys jacket to her- she loves it! She loves the fit, warmth and the fur lining on the hood. I'll take the win!!
I bought this for my 12 yo son in November. He never wears it because apparently it's not cool to wear a coat. So with the little amount of use this had gotten, it tore right at the seam. He didn't know it happened so he reached for his pocket, and his hand went straight into the hole, making it ev...en worse. It should not have come apart in the first place.

It's soft and thick, kind of squishy. Classic parka shape and length past his butt. Has features to keep out cold and snow such as snaps over the zipper and straps to cinch the sleeves over gloves. The fur hood is cute on him. It was not the same color as the photo. The fur I got is mousey brown with dark tips. It is a better color than the one in the photo in my opinion.
