This really is more of a quilted rather than a true puffer jacket because there is very little filling in the channels. However, it's a beautiful, lightweight shell that's perfect over a sweater on a milder winter day. I might even use this down to around 30 degrees with a warm layer or two undernea...th. The color is a very dark blue with a nice crinkly sheen to it that makes it look less ubiquitous than your average puffer jacket. For the discounted price, it's a good value.
I really wanted to like this Water-Resistant Narrow-Channel Nylon Puffer Jacket, but a few issues made it a miss for me. First, the fit is noticeably tighter than other Large Tall jackets I have — especially around the shoulders and chest — so it doesn't feel true to size at all. Second, the exteri...or material feels surprisingly rough to the touch. For a puffer, I expected something smoother or softer, but this has an almost scratchy texture that isn't very comfortable. Finally, the build quality seems questionable. After just one wash, several threads were already fraying along the seams, which doesn't inspire confidence in how long it will last. Overall, I can't recommend this jacket. There are better options out there for the price.
