I read through all the reviews saying these pants fit large. There's one reviewer that says if you have any amount of bloating or belly fat under your belly button.. to size up. And I have to agree. The pleats Don't sit right if the pants are fitting. They look better when they hang off of your body.... I'm normally a size 4 and I ordered a 4 reg, and even tho they do up okay with room in the waist.. I found them to be too small under and around the belly button area causing them to fit weird. I ordered a six hoping that it sits better. If not, I'll keep the 4 and wear them on skinny days lol. I got the plum. They're beautiful. Wish they had a bit of a wider leg. Found they are long enough if worn with shoes. Which is great. I'm 5'4". 138lbs. Curvy. Size 27 in jeans. I definitely recommend ordering your size. Don't size down imo.
When I first saw these in store I couldn't wait to try them on, sadly my store doesn't carry the petite sizes in store, so I had to place an online order. I love the way they feel on, and the adjustable waistband is great. However, when it comes to fit I wish they had a "curve" option because the si...ze 8 fits me best in the waist but is way too tight on my stomach and hips and the size 12 is just a little too big even on the smallest adjustment but fits my hips and stomach best. The size 10 are a little too big in the waist and a little too snug in the stomach/hip area, a "curve" fit would solve this issue. I have made the 10 and the 12 work well enough, but they have potential to be better! I only have worn them 3 times and have washed them, and when pulling them out of the drawer earlier this week I noticed the fabric is already starting to pill on the legs. These have potential to be great, and I hope the future versions will fix these issues. I am normally a size 10 in pants.
