These boots are perfect to wear with skirts. I wanted a size 8-1/2, but they were sold out of that size. Some people said they sized down, so I went with an 8 instead of going up to a 9. The size was just right, although an 8-1/2 probably would have been fine too. If you're concerned they'll be too tight above the ankle area, don't size down.
