I wear a 3X in dresses and tank from Old Navy and I bought this in a 3X. It's a good fit. I'm only 5 ft 3, but this hits me just above my waist because I have a 44 DD chest. There is some pull at the bust but I don't usually button my cardigans. I appreciate the fitted look of the sweater to balanc...e out wide-leg pants. It's also nice and thin making it perfect for indoors at the office or in a restaurant with air conditioning. I get hot so I like to wear tanks year round and just layer. I was worried because a lot of Old Navy sweaters pill very easily. Came out of the wash the way it went in. I laid it flat to dry and it seems to be holding up but I don't know how it will wear.
I am always looking for cardigans in exactly this shape since most that I find are very long or cut with a v neck. And there were three colors that I loved! So, got all three even though I am very worried about the quality of the garment. The buttons are very loosely attached (ok, I generally plan t...o wear it open. The material is very soft and fuzzy but...like it will be easily stretched or damaged in the wash. I will make sure to wash these in a lingerie bag in cold water and lay them flat to dry. Lets hope they last a year.

I love the fabrication. It's lightweight and stretchy and feels good on. I bought a smaller size just to have it more fitted. It washed well. I'm going to buy more colors. This one is light brown. Great cardigan for terrific price!
