This is extremely comfortable. I really like that it's mostly made out of cotton. Just a warning -- it does shrink in the dryer so it's best if it's a bit long-- that way it won't shrink too much after being washed. I'm 5'0, with a 30" waist and 40" hip. According to Old Navy's size guide, I shoul...d be a medium. I went ahead and bought a couple in both S and M petite. M petite is teensy tiny bit too loose around the waist, so it's not really high waisted on me. However it's excellent as a mid-rise and especially for lounging, as it's super loose and comfortable. However, because the fit isn't as high rise, it's a bit long and drags a bit on the floor -- which is fine if it's mostly for lounging. S petite fits better around the waist, however the fit isn't as loose. It's still comfortable and would be good to wear for going out, etc. The length is just right also.

After reading several reviews I finally tried these in regular size although I needed tall, as they were out of stock in tall sizing. So many reviews mentioned that they were VERY long. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on, only to be extremely disappointed after washing them. They shrunk... about 2 inches in length. So I proceeded to order a few more in TALL when they were back in stock (although now at a higher piece), and was sure they would be successful after washing /drying since these were dragging on the floor…washed one and it was fine. So I washed the rest. Washed the first pair a second time and they shrunk like 3 inches. The inseam for the Tall size ended up being 31inches! That is not tall! I've now wasted about $80 and have zero wearable warm comfortable pants.
