I bought the "Belle" version for my daughter and of course she loves it. I would say it is very true to size. We have the 6T and my daughter is nearly 7, it fits perfectly right now but I believe it will be too small rather soon. So honestly I would say size up if you would like it to last longer on... your child (I would actually have returned it and gotten one size up if it were available in bigger sizes just so she could wear it longer). These dresses are cute for wearing to school or just playing dress up. Old Navy, please consider making these in small "Girls" sizes, little girls that are beyond toddler sizes still love dressing up like a princess!

Love the fact the top and the skirt liner are cotton! I'm type of a mom who tries to avoid polyester clothing as much as possible for my little girl. My 22month old (33" tall, 25lb) fits perfectly into size 18-24month for all 3 of them. I also bought 2T (other only available size) for back up, they fit big, visually not as appealing but keeping them for winter. We live in Florida the knit material is not thick she can wear all year around.
