My son really likes the fit of these. They're lightweight and great for a beach vacation! He's in between boys and men's sizes right now, so finding things that fit is tricky. These are a little loose around the waist, but still fit well and will hopefully fit for the whole summer. He's 5'3" and abo...ut 110 pounds for reference.
Old Navy customer service and their product quality has gone downhill significantly. I have been a regular Old Navy customer since 1998. At this point at least half of their offerings are what one would call disposable quality - thin to see through, poorly sewn, uneven fabric, and washes poorly. Oth...er times, they either do not ship your items at all (such a frequent thing that they've added a quick link for "missing items") yet they refuse to replace them or they leave the security tags on the items requiring you to take the items to a store to deal with more poor customer service. These shorts are see through and have security tags attached.

Best boys shorts. It's hard to find affordable shorts that 14 year old boys will wear but these honestly do the trick. Just like the other high end stores but for less than half the cost. My son loves these, so I bought them in grey, blue and black.
