They're a bit see through but they're soft, lightweight, and true to size. Or at least mine were, so I guess it's hit and miss. I'm happy with my purchase.

These camis are not the quality of previous camis. There's far too much spandex in them. If I wanted a skin layer I'd have purchased slimming shapeware. Go back to the all cotton ones that actually fit! These are so tight that they're uncomfortable for anyone who doesn't have a stick figure. I have ...to pull at them all day because they ride up too short and don't fit properly even in a bigger size. Do not recommend unless you have no curves at all.
