You'd think this dress came from a more expensive store, it's pretty and is designed to fit better than many Old Navy dresses. I like the quality of the cotton linen too, it could be sold in a Banana Republic too. I'm lazy, I like to machine wash and dry everything. So as I do with all my Old Navy ...clothes, I buy them one size up then wash them on warm and dry on medium (I don't do special laundry processes/no air dry and no dry cleaning unless it's an expensive formal dress or suit). In this case it worked well. While the result was a tad loose, I might try washing and drying on hot instead of warm as it would probably be an absolute perfect fit after that. But I'm pleased with it as-is and am buying two more in different colors tonight.
Due to the non-adjustable straps, I would not recommend for ladies who are bigger on top. Even with the elastic panel in the back, due to how the top portion is cut, it still feels tight around my chest even when I sized up. Ladies with bigger arms should also beware due to the fixed length of strap...s as the armhole is not generous. I am a midsized gal and it fit alright but on the tighter side so I can see how it might be an issue in some cases. The sweetheart neckline is adorable though. I wished they would make the straps adjustable and had more colors/prints to choose from. If they made that slight change, I probably would buy one in every color and bump the rating to 5. Love that it has pockets too. But for now, it just isn't the most comfortable to wear for my body type.
