I've spent years searching for work-appropriate pants that actually fit. I'm a petite, rectangle-shaped body type, and nearly everything I've tried—from Talbots to Chico's—has been too roomy in the seat and thighs. I need belt loops (no hips or rear to keep pants in place!), and I prefer horizontal ...front pockets like jeans rather than vertical side pockets, which never give a clean line. I also avoid pants with too much stretch because they're baggy within an hour. And then I finally found the perfect pair, and these are it. Shockingly, they've been available this whole time—I just overlooked them out of pure snobbery because they're from Old Navy. Isn't this where all the college kids shop? Even though I'm petite, I ordered the regular length so they'd cover my ankles during Midwest winters. They also come in bootcut and wide-leg styles, if you're interested. Please, Old Navy, never stop selling these pants, or change them.
I've worn these about once every two weeks since November and washed them in cold without drying in the machine just as often. This past week I noticed the elastic in the fabric started to poke out, like it ripped, in the seat. It almost looked like somebody poked me in the butt; I have no idea how ...this could be fixed and I will not repurchase. I have a curvy figure, 29" waist and 41" hips/rear. I bought a 10 petite and probably could have purchased a 12, but it would have been way too big in the waist, as there's already a gap in the back. So long story short, the mediocre fit (please old navy, make curvy fit work pants) and terrible fabric quality already give bad vibes, then you try and stick your phone in the non existent pockets and it's like...bro, what are we really doing here?

My go-to work pant. Great quality and so comfy. They keep their shape after a couple of wears. I got in multiple colors and wear on repeat! I'm 5'4 and they hit me perfectly at the ankle

The pants arrived much earlier than expected which was nice since we were traveling. The straight cut fits more appropriate for work than the skinny on my figure.

I've had lots of Old Navy work pants through the years. I've tried on Pixie Straits before, but passed because of the fit. I tried on a tan pair in store and they're not the usual pixie pants texture and more stretchy. I loved the fit and material of them and bought them that day. I decided to see if they had other options like the tan pair, so I ordered the grey and I am so glad I did! The grey and tan pairs are seriously the most comfortable, stretchy, and best looking pants I've gotten from Old Navy. If you look at the materials, they're different from the other pairs. If all the Pixie pants were made like these, I'd have all the colors. I'm 5'4 and 180lbs with most of the weight in my midsection and the length hits just above the ankle. 10/10, buy these while you can!

In love! The best work pants ever, I am between 5'4 & 5'5 and the regular length works great for me. My only complaint is the color fades fast but wash inside out on cold and hang dry to preserve the color. Really great especially for the price m.
