So I'm always a M in swimsuits. I'm 5'2" and 117 lbs but with a 34DD chest so that's usually why I need M. I got this size and it was huge. I mean, yes I love that I would need a S instead but now the black ribbed is all sold out.:-(. I loved this swimsuit! Hopefully it'll come back in stock. So siz...e down!
I ordered the watermelon palm print and it's really cute, but the back is cut way too low. I specifically bought this bathing suit because the back didn't look super low in the pictures like most Old Navy suites are. Bummed because it's a really cute print at a great price. I ordered a 2X. I'm 5'3...ish, and don't consider myself to have a long torso.

My body type is best described as "I used to have an hourglass figure but now I'm a mom with 20 extra lbs and a c-section pooch". I ordered this bathing suit to wear to my toddler's swim class, and I am shocked that I love it. It's super flattering, and it's modest without being frumpy. I have no idea how durable it is yet, but it's a win just to put on a bathing suit and not hate it! As a reference point - I'm 5'3", usually wear a size 10-12 in Old Navy jeans.
