I really wanted to like these. I loved the color of the wash when they arrived, and I liked the high waist because I needed some high waisted, slim fitting jeans for certain tops and sweaters I own. But they were not for me. They are made from a stretchy denim, jegging-type material, so the upper th...igh area was just too baggy on this cut of jean, because they are not cut like jeggings. I'm not a skinny-thighed gal, but I'm not full figured either. I realize every body is different so these will obviously work for certain body types. I feel like these would look more flattering on women who are a bit fuller in the upper thigh area. On me they felt very fitted at the calf (and I don't have large or muscular calves by any means) while being loose in the upper thigh area. At first I thought maybe I received a defective pair, but the other two jeans in my order (two mid-rise power slim straight jeans - one in dark wash and one in black) fit the exact same way - too loose and baggy in the upper thigh, so they all looked sloppy and just wrong. For reference I'm 5ft 6 1/2 in tall, 130 lbs., more of a straight and slender/athletic build. I ended up returning them all.
